The Asian Pacific State Employees Association (APSEA) is excited to announce the launch of Jump Start, a program that pairs APSEA members with a mentor for a one-off, 45 minute coffee or virtual meeting.
Designed to help APSEA members meet new people and expand their professional network, Jump Start is being targeted to go live in autumn 2021.
The mentor pool will consist of senior leaders within state government, current and past APSEA Board Members, and other affiliated persons who are interested in meeting with APSEA members.
Mentee applicants will not be guaranteed a mentor meeting. The Jump Start program committee will make every effort to pair mentee applicants with a mentor. Upon notification of their pairings, mentors and mentees will be responsible for scheduling their coffee or virtual meeting. The Jump Start program committee will be viable to help facilitate this process as needed.
If you apply and are selected to participate in the Jump Start program, we ask that you complete a program evaluation survey after your coffee or virtual meeting to help us ensure the program is meeting member needs.
